Criminal Psychology As Related to Anthropology
Anthropology deals in the study of the human race or the species in general whereas criminal psychology deals with criminal minds. However, as long as we are talking about human beings, there must be a relationship between the two. How, you might ask. The answer to that may be simpler than you think. A criminal is still a part of the human race and as such his motives and actions are better understood within the larger scope of the human race at a given period in time. I would assume that each generation has a certain impact on the way certain actions are carried out. It could be escalating greed in the midst of escalating poverty. While the justice system does not allow poverty as an excuse for committing a crime, it still helps to understand the motivation behind the act itself. This is how the scope of criminal psychology expands.
