Shopping for a new vehicle. The market for 4 wheel drive cars is quite a bit more crowded today than it was a few years ago. Unless you don’t like choices the competition is quite good for you the buyer since the automakers are constantly trying to one up each other to keep ahead in the eyes of the car buying public and car enthusiasts in particular.
One of the top all wheel drive car companies is Audi. Not only does Audi have a complete lineup of all wheel drive sedans but they also offer performance oriented coupes like the A5 and S5 not to mention the powerful lineup of S series sedans.
The ultimate AWD Audis are actually the more rare but super high-performance RS cars like the RS4, RS6 and RS5. Even the miniature Audi TT is available in an RS version to compete with the BMW M1 and other small, powerful cars.
Another company you should check out if you are looking for an all wheel drive vehicle is Acura. While Acura doesn’t have the same performance lineup that Audi does they do have one of the best AWD systems on the market today which certainly counts for something.
